Where does electricity actually come from? In this program, students don't just learn the answer. They build it.
Basic Electronics starts at the atom and works outward. Students trace the origin of energy, then build wet and dry cell batteries, design simple circuits, make electromagnets and explore their uses, and construct a working motor or generator.
Every concept is grounded in hands-on construction. The program wraps up with a complete electronics project that students finish and take home, whether that is a vibrabot, a small vehicle, or a similar build.
Available any time of year. A program that tends to surprise students who do not think of themselves as engineers.
