Plan Your Visit
Everything You Need to Know
All summer long, the Historic Boathouse is open to visitors on selected weekends — free to explore, full of stories, sitting at the end of the most remarkable pier on the Oregon Coast.
Walk out over Tillamook Bay and step inside a building that has been standing here since 1936. Our volunteer docents are on hand to share the history of the Boathouse, the Coast Guard station that once operated here, the maritime heritage of Garibaldi, and the living ecosystem of the bay all around you. The photo gallery on the walls offers a window into the coast's past, and our docents are always happy to bring it to life.
There's no fee to visit. Just show up.
